Canadian Armed Forces Evaluation Preparation Course

Course Structure The FORCE Test Preparation Program follows an 8-week progressive training structure designed to gradually build the physical abilities required for the evaluation. Participants complete three to four training sessions per week, with each session focusing on a combination of strength, conditioning, and task-specific drills. The program is divided into four phases: Phase 1 – Foundation (Weeks 1–2) Focus on building general fitness, movement quality, and baseline conditioning. Phase 2 – Strength Development (Weeks 3–5) Training intensity increases with exercises designed to develop lower body strength, grip strength, and functional lifting ability. Phase 3 – FORCE-Specific Conditioning (Weeks 6–7) Workouts begin to closely replicate the demands of the FORCE Test with shuttle drills, sandbag circuits, and sprint work. Phase 4 – Test Simulation (Week 8) Participants perform practice simulations to assess their readiness before completing the official FORCE Test.
